The gallery’s policy is to present a balanced and varied exhibition program of innovative and traditional works that provide opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with the visual arts, craft and design and support representation of the Redlands diverse culture and heritage.

The William Taylor Park is located on Mooroondu Road in Wellington Point, Queensland and is one of the twelve parks in Queensland that offers skating facilities to the general public. The park is named after William Taylor who was a scholar and translator of German Romantic literature. The park's sportfield that is better known as the William Taylor Memorial Sportsfield is also a popular arena for holding various events. The park remains open everyday from 6.30am to 6.30 pm. There is no entry charge.

The Beth Boyd park is Located in Thorneside and is an excellent place to relax and unwind yourself. It offers the visitors all facilities starting from picnic areas,shades and shelters to toilets and parking areas.

Redlands IndigiScapes Centre is Australia's first environmental centre for indigenous plants. The 14.5 hectare site offers 14 demonstration gardens, over a kilometre of walking tracks, an environmental information centre, conference facilities, tea garden café, gift shop and nursery. Displays, workshops and events are regular features at the centre. There are a range of tours on offer incorporating bush tucker, bird watching and general information about the flora and fauna of the area. Passionate and knowledgeable staff are keen to share with visitors their vast knowledge of the environment and local wildlife. The demonstration gardens feature a range of different themes including coastal, scribbly gum, formal, wildlife attracting, grey gum, water wise, and rainforest, wetland and creek vegetation.

IndigiScapes is also the home of the Redlands Visitor Information Centre where you can find out whats on offer in the Redlands, whether it been attractions, accommodation or tours!
