Barrenjoey House is simple, comforting and magical like its environment. Situated in Palm Beach, a relaxing drive will see you arriving here in just less than an hour from Sydney.

The sun, sea and nature surround Barrenjoey House with yachts resting calmly on the waters of its doorstep. The restaurant menu extensively reflects the sea with fresh ingredients such as Hawkesbury squid, Smoked Tasmanian salmon, Tiger prawns and Queensland spanner crab. There are also hearty offerings of various steaks and spatchcock.

Dunes Restaurant is popular with both locals and travellers from Sydney. It has been skilfully designed to take full advantage of the idyllic surroundings and views. Several dining areas are available for all types of weather and occasions.

The main dining restaurant, with a large fireplace, seats 60 which extends to the fully enclosed Italian marquee, also seating 60. This can be opened on fine days to allow for the soft breezes from Pittwater and the ocean, but can also be enclosed and heated for more intimate functions and protection from the cooler weather.

Perhaps the only feature that can divert your attention from the stunning view at Jonah’s is the food. The award-winning Restaurant offers excellent Contemporary Australian cuisine.

The kitchen is led by Peter Ridland who joined Jonah’s in 2009. Boasting an impressive resume Peter has cooked alongside Luke Mangan at Bistro Lulu, Marc Philpott at Gunners Barracks and Starwood Hotels. Peter has spent time in Europe which included Stages with Michel Roux Jnr (2* Michelin) at Le Gavroche in London, Jean Luc Rocha (2* Michelin) at Cordeillan Bages in France, Jacques Marcon (3* Michelin) at Restaurant Regis et Jacques Marcon.
