Creative artists primarily use up-cycled content in their artworks or showcase the natural environment to promote the concept of treading lightly on the planet. The event showcases Landcare works, the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens, Eurobodalla Shire Council Natural Resource team, local students environmental and recycled projects, local artists use of recycled produce and environmental community groups like the Nature Coast Marine Group, Australian Seabird Rescue and Broulee Community Association. Every year there are more and more sculptures - just stroll along the beautiful beach and enjoy. Or, if you are an avid sand modeller yourself, take part in the competition for your chance to win heaps of prizes. It all takes place near the beach entrance near Train Street, near the amenities block. Each team can have a maximum of five people. The Three Categories are Open Sculpture or Open Sandcastle or Junior (have not started high school). All funds go towards projects run by the Broulee Mossy Point Association....
