Just 60 minutes north of Brisbane Airport. Follow the Bruce Highway (M1) to the Yandina/Coolum exit and follow the signs.

Bli Bli's Suncoast Cable Watersports Cable park boasts world class kickers and sliders to suit all skill levels from beginner’s right up to advanced. Palmersaurus will be full of surprises and anyone who visits at twilight will see just how effective and impressive the lighting is.

Weighing in at around four metric tons and measuring up to thirteen metres from nose to tail, the Edmontosaurus stood around three metres tall and was part of the Hadrosauridae, or duckbill family of dinosaurs which were known for their remarkable dental arrangement. Three rows of interlocking munching molars on each side of the jaw added up to a grand total of over 700 teeth, ideal for chomping their way through the toughest cycads and conifers.

Palmersaurus will be available for hire to host children’s birthday parties, evening cocktail functions and other special occasions.

Mount Coolum National Park, especially the green-cloaked dome of Mount Coolum, dominates the skyline of the Sunshine Coast lowlands. After rain, waterfalls cascade down steep craggy cliffs to open eucalypt forest skirting the lower slopes. Towards the summit, rare montane heath grows. The park also protects coastal wallum, paperbark wetlands and rainforest remnants. Climb the steep, rough 800 metre trail up the mountain's eastern side from the carpark to the summit. Carry water and snack food. Be rewarded with 360 degree views - most spectacular at sunrise. Look for peregrine falcons nesting along cliff faces. In winter and spring, photograph wildflowers. Hinterland Feijoas is Australia's first certified organic feijoa orchard, and is situated on 11 acres in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland between Eumundi and Kenilworth. Owners Sally and Peter welcome visitors to their farm on weekends during the fresh fruit season March and April annually. Other times are available by appointment. Group tours are welcome, and can be accompanied by a feijoa-themed morning tea if required. Hinterland Feijoas markets fresh organic feijoas, feijoa jams and chutney, feijoa gelato and chocolate, feijoa balsamic glazes, and preserved feijoas. The farm has spectacular views across the Upper Mary Valley towards Mt Eerwah, and has bus access. Visitors can just chill in the fresh country air, try all things feijoa, pat some cute mini-ponies, and learn about organic gardening.

Oz Ski Resort is the Sunshine Coast's only man made fresh water ski facility. They operate two Ski Nautique boats on two lakes. They offer beginner to advanced water skiing and wake boarding lessons, banana boat rides, knee boarding, and tubing. Their banana caters for up to five people. Each waterski or wakeboard lesson includes boat, driver, coach, free use of the latest equipment and your own personal water time. Book one and two hour ski sessions and bring a group of friends down for a birthday party, a Christmas function or celebration in their fantastic undercover barbecue area, indulge in a spa bath while you look out over the lakes. This facility is operated by World Champions Emma and Curtis Sheers who have over 50 years combined experience in the sport of waterskiing, you will learn the latest techniques from experienced World Class competitors. They have taught children as young as three to waterski and their oldest skier is in their 70s. You are never too old to give this amazing sport a try. A day at Oz Ski Resort will be a day to remember.

Visitors to the Sunshine Coast's popular Eumundi markets often admire mature figs, camphor laurels, lillypillies, flame trees and a jacaranda along the town's main thoroughfare without knowing their significance. The Eumundi Women's Patriotic Committee raised £100 for the planting of 20 trees, representing local lives lost in WWI. Between 1914 and 1918, 87 men from Eumundi and the surrounding district enlisted. Memorial avenues were an uncommon choice in Queensland although many flourished in southern states. Originally figs were planted to create Eumundi's memorial drive. Only five have survived. Replantings introduced the mixture of trees. Every tree had a unique bronze tablet bearing in brass letters the name, unit, date and place of death of a deceased soldier. Over time some were lost. The 12 remaining plaques now can be found in the Eumundi Historical Museum. Eumundi is one of the few towns in Queensland without a monumental type WWI memorial. The trees provide a focal point for remembrance ceremonies, particularly on ANZAC Day when school children place floral tributes at the base of each tree.
