Weldborough Hotel started trading in 1876 during the tin mining boom. A traditional country pub located in Weldborough, between Scottsdale and St Helens in North East Tasmania. Surrounded by stunning rainforest, lush green fields and close to the Blue Tier with access direct from the hotel to incredible mountain bike trails. The hotel stocks an amazing array of Tasmanian beers, ciders and soft drinks and offers beer and cider tastings. Two bars with wood heaters, courtyard and lovely beer garden. Accommodation options include queen bedroom, family room, two doubles, two twin-share rooms plus an extensive scenic camp ground including two cabins sleeping four and five. The hotel offers a fresh approach to pub food, sourcing produce as locally as possible. The steaks and steak sandwiches are amazingly tender and tasty. Plenty of other tempting items on the menu. Vegetarian and gluten free options available. Lonely Planet described the food as 'excellent'. The hotel was featured in Gourmet Farmer Afloat in 2015 and has also been included in several travel and mountain bike magazines....

Weldborough Camping Ground is adjacent to Weldborough Hotel between Scottsdale and St Helens set in beautiful grassed surroundings with rainforest near by. Powered and non-powered sites, hot showers/toilets and drinking water is available. Firepots are essential but please check at hotel before lighting up. Amazing trails are accessible from campground for walking, MTBs, trail and quad bikes. An added attraction is the historic Weldborough Hotel serving great locally sourced food and an amazing selection of Tasmanian beer and cider....

Situated in amongst the Blue Derby trail network on a secluded and peaceful and located 400 metres from the Weldborough Hotel, this cottage sleeps six in comfortable beds with hotel quality linen and has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and a a king bunk. Blue Tier is 20km East and you can ride from the door to Little Chook and Big Chook mountain bike trails and, for the more enthusiastic, to the start of Atlas. The laundry/ wet room leads straight into the renovated bathroom which has a large shower and IXL heat lamp. A heat pump and wood fire ensures you can be toasty and warm no matter how wet and cold your day may have been. The refurbished kitchen has complete cooking facilities and a pod coffee machine to help kick start your day. For your downtime we have DVDs, books and games. There is a bbq and outdoor eating area and a lockable shed equipped for basic bike maintenance and storage. Wifi is provided to enable you to keep those missing out on your adventure up to date....
