After getting bored with the usual options for eating out for breakfast, owners, Lisa and Bernie, took to the net to try and find something different. After months of searching for ideas they came up with Cereal Addiction, Hervey Bay's first cereal breakfast cafe.Currently the new shop is being fitted out at 13A Main Street Pialba with the key design idea being 'Like having breakfast at home'. When the new shop opens in January 2016 be sure to drop in and see.The menu consists of having available over 100 breakfast cereals from Australia and around the world, with more than 30 differnt toppings to choose, and 'out of the square' side dishes like the alltime 80s favourite, the pop tart. Also, as the staff of Cereal Addiction call themselves 'Cerealistas...not Baristas' so tea and coffee is available, but none of that fancy 'Quadruple Super Grande, Cream Half-Soy Full City Roast Nonfat Half-caf Organic Caramel Vanilla Iced Double-Shot Latte' stuff.At Cereal Addiction the customer experience is the end game. Whether a customer is eating in, enjoying one of their childhood favourites, trying something totally new, or, just ducking in for a take away to eat at their desk (or steering wheel... parked hopefully.) customers can choose from something as simple as froot loops and milk to a full blown 'breaktail' which are custom creations of multiple cereals, toppings, and various types of milk or juice.Cereal Addiction will be open from early January 2016 from 5:00AM 7 days a week, and Cerealously Good Breakfast.
