Learn about native species by joining animal keepers as they feed lorikeets, Tasmanian Devils, Dingoes, water birds and other native animals during our daily feeding sessions. Warrawong offers a unique opportunity to get amongst the Australian bush and wildlife in a protected habitat. With over 100 species of birds and many native mammals, Warrawong Wildlife Park is a great day out and an educational one. Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary was first established in 1969 when dairy land was revegetated with native trees and shrubs to attract native animals and birds. In 1982 the 35 acres was enclosed with feral-proof fencing. Once the fence was completed, the bird population flourished and the release of many native animals began. Today, Warrawong is home to 100 species of birds and many native mammals, most of which are nocturnal. Warrawong offers a unique opportunity to get amongst the Australian bush and wildlife in a protected habitat. This wildlife park in Adelaide is only 20 minutes from the city, so make a trip to Warrawong, one of your things to do! Warrawong means: water on the side of the hill, so don\\'t expect anything but a good incline to descend and come back up....

Carrick Hill is fortunate in being one of the few period homes in Australia to survive with its original contents almost completely intact and its grounds undiminished.

When you enter the course you are up in the Mountain Cattlemen\\'s country entering via a cattleman\\'s hut.

You go across the head of the Howqua River and drop down to an area where you can play checkers on a paved area.

You go over the Howqua Bridge and your in Mountain bike country where you can stop and have a picnic or BBQ.

To enter the next area you go via the snow chalet and can rest on seats made from snow boards .

You leave the snow fields and climb a flight of stairs to walk a catwalk over a small lake full of gold fish - takes you to the rivers and lakes area - the fishing hole.
