Established in 1894, Wirra Wirra's ironstone cellars were restored when first cousins Greg and Roger Trott revived the Wirra Wirra (Aboriginal for amongst the gums) operations in 1969. The cellars have been lovingly restored using resurrected timbers from Adelaide's old woolsheds, and the bricks and relics of a condemned Methodist church. Wirra Wirra vineyards is situated three point seven kilometres from the Township of McLaren Vale in South Australia. Over the years Wirra Wirra has developed a strong following for intense, beautifully crafted red wines and espressive whites, forging an enviable reputation as one of Australia's most recognisable and leading wineries. During winter blazing fires welcome visitors and in summer the cellars are wonderfully cool. Our famous woodhenge fence and bell tower are favourites with picnickers, and petanque balls are available to play on the lawns.

Angove Family Winemakers are one of South Australia's oldest family-owned and operated wine companies, established in 1886 by Dr William Thomas Angove. Less than one kilometre from the township of McLaren Vale, the family's historic vineyard on Chalk Hill Road is exceptionally positioned and farmed organically. The Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door is nestled amongst the vines, and from the stunning terrace you are literally sitting in the middle of the vineyard with panoramic 180 degree views of McLaren Vale. It is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to taste award winning McLaren Vale wines and sample local produce. The cellar door also offers single origin, free trade coffee and light food in a relaxed lounge setting with open fire as well as a gourmet outdoor kitchen and wood oven designed for special events. The Jubilee Park Adventure Playground at Port Noarlunga is suitable for all ages, fully fenced, with toilets, barbecue, undercover tables and chairs, an access swing and car parking. There is a nominated toddler area, with a smaller slide and toddler swings, plus a tunnel and bridge. There are lots of seats within the castle for parents to sit and watch their children. Outside of the wooden fortress area is a modern play area with a slide plus some great equipment that twists and turns.

A sweet tooth's paradise. Visit The Menz Fruchocs Shop, situated in the heart of McLaren Vale. Sample exquisite confectionery such as Medlow fine gels - a fruit gel made using pectin, a natural derivative of fruit. Also try Menz FruChocs and Crown Mints. Select your product and watch it be covered in chocolate in front of your own eyes. An interactive attraction with working confectionery machinery, which is sure to entertain not only children but adults too. Free entry and easy parking with plenty of wicked confectionery to be purchased.

Goodieson Brewery is owned and operated by Jeff Goodieson - Master Brewer with years of brewing and technical experience - and his wife Mary. The brewery is rustic and informal, and visitors are welcome to walk amongst the brewing vessels, smell the smells, and talk to Jeff. There's not much he doesn't know about brewing and what goes on between barley and beer. The current range includes a Pale Ale, a Pilsner, and a Wheat beer, and Jeff guarantees traditional, flavoursome, great tasting beer every time!

The Marienberg Centre is a unique restaurant, wine bar and cellar door complex in the heart of the picturesque McLaren Vale. The centre incorporates the historically significant circa 1850's cottage, which was home to the local stonemason and limeburner, hence the name of the restaurant. The Marienberg Centre offers a cosy wine bar in the cottage, which is attached to the delightfully airy restaurant, showcasing some of the best regional produce the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer. The Cellar Door facility located adjacent to the restaurant is the home of Marienberg and Fern Hill Estate wines. You are welcome to wander down during lunch and sample the large array of fine wines and local produce they have to offer, along with corporate apparel and souvenirs. Marienberg and Fern Hill Estate Wines can be enjoyed in the restaurant at Cellar Door prices. Other local wines also available.

Blessed Cheese is the start point of the McLaren Vale Cheese and Wine Trail. Pick up your cheese hamper from Blessed Cheese and enjoy a progressive cheese and wine tasting at some of the best cellar doors in McLaren Vale and surrounds. The hamper includes a selection of local cheeses, olives, dried fruit, almonds and crackers. You can also upgrade to the premium hamper (advance noticed required) which includes smoked salmon, pate, dip, local smallgoods, frittata, antipasto, bread and petit fours. This self drive tour gives visitors the opportunity to savour the flavours of the area at their own pace while enjoying a unique cheese and wine matching. Foggo Wines is located in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine district. They specialise in making super premium wines from some of McLaren Vale's oldest vines. The winery and cellar door are located on the estate vineyard and plantings date back to 1915. Foggo Wines also have estate vineyards at McLaren Flat and Willunga, where 70 percent of the vines are dry grown. Their super premium wines are made with a blend of old, traditional methods and modern wine making techniques. Foggo Wines are only available at their cellar door or via email orders. Foggo Wines is a family run winery and their cellar door is a must for the true wine enthusiast to visit to taste their wines. A range of local produce is also on sale at the cellar door.

Whether it's to gaze, to graze or just laze, the Penny's Hill and Mr. Riggs Cellars Complex offers visitors many an option. From tasting a wide range of Penny's Hill, Mr. Riggs and The Black Chook premium wines, to browsing a gallery of constantly changing works of art by Australian painters, walking the expansive grounds, finding photographic angles or lingering over a meal in our award winning 'The Kitchen Door' restaurant. 'Ingleburne Farm', where we are located, is an enchanting link with the ways of previous generations. Yet, it is a vibrant modern facility, bubbling with good cheer, friendly informed service and the chance to stay overnight, or two. Functions range from candlelit dinners, well orchestrated weddings, conference and training activities and of course outstanding food-wine happenings. On any day, the time can be passed happily.
