Watagan, Olney, Heaton, Awaba, Ourimbah and Wyong State Forests, collectively known as 'The Watagans' are part of a chain of State Forests which start from Ourimbah in the south and stretch north to Cessnock. These State Forests are considered nature's playground for the range of nature-based activities available in the area. These forests contain not only beautiful mountain scenery but have all the necessary facilities for day-trippers, bushwalkers, four wheel drivers and campers. There are also treetop adventures, paintball games and mountain biking in the area. To get to the Watagans travel from Wyong via Dooralong Road and pick up the Watagan Forest Road. From Cooranbong travel via Martinsville and pick up Martinsville Hill Road or Freemans Drive and then onto Mount Faulk Road.

The world's longest and craziest rollercoaster zip lines are flying fast and furious on NSW's Central Coast. Australia's first rollercoaster zip lines ramp up the wow adventure factor as they swoop, twist, turn and zig zag through the trees in Ourimbah State Forest. The one kilometre long Crazy Rider Xtreme is an exhilarating rush for those who dare as it darts through the forest six storeys above ground with 40 slaloms including three 360 degree turns. The Pioneer is a softer, 330 metre long adventure filled with twists and dips and loads of fun. Both zip lines are fully accessible for people of all abilities including people who use wheelchairs. Roses 2 Go is a highly respected hydroponic rose growing facility in New South Wales growing all its roses using the latest environmentally friendly cultivation techniques. A guided tour of Roses 2 Go takes approximately one and a half hours but this is entirely dependant on the size of the group and the depth of the interest in the tour. Tours can be customised to fit your particular schedule. The tour begins with a brief history of Roses 2 Go. Then you are escorted through the two cultivation greenhouses where the hydroponic roses are grown. Visitors get to experience the climatic conditions that the roses are grown under. All the many rose varieties that are grown are displayed. The tour then takes a detailed view of the processing shed and the cold storage facility. Then, finally a browse through the beautiful farm retail outlet where the roses can be purchased.

Laserblast is a family owned local business whose purpose is to provide affordable family friendly entertainment in the Wyong Shire and beyond. Laserblast seeks to be a safe facility offering world beating high-tech indoor Laser-tag activities for the young and the fun at heart. Club Toukley RSL is a large RSL club with old world charm and a modern bistro serving great value contemporary meals and snacks.
