Tom’s Bistro is spacious and airy, with room to move, and featuring huge screens around the room so that you can keep up to date with sport and music. The great value a la carte menu operates 7 days for lunch (from 11.30am) and dinner (from 5.30pm).

The bistro opens out into the courtyard, with outdoor dining options, a great fenced kids playgrounds and a kids playcentre.

There is a private room situated within the bistro area that can be booked for private functions, meetings or conferences.

The newly relaunched Yongala Lodge Restaurant is rapidly developing a reputation as the place to go for divine food and premium service.  Located just minutes from Townsville’s CBD and merely 80m from The Strand, the Yongala Lodge Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for dinner.

Guests can choose from two unique dining precincts – alfresco style on the lodge’s breezy front veranda or in the historic dining room boasting traditional Queenslander features.

Odyssey on the Strand is a popular, relaxed café offering all day bistro dining with a Greek influence. Odyssey offers beautiful ocean views, alfresco dining, freshly prepared food on premises, fully licensed bar. Odyssey caters to social, special occasions, business lunches, informal catch ups mothers groups and business lunches. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to many dietary needs.
