Montacute Boutique Bunkhouse is Tasmania's first and only boutique hostel. Housed in a beautifully renovated 1895 mansion, Montacute offers private double rooms and shared bunkrooms. To ensure a good night's sleep, especially if staying in a shared bunkroom, all beds have excellent quality mattresses, crisp cotton sheets, warm woollen duvet/doonas, 100% Tasmanian superfine merino wool blankets, reading lamp, power point and towel. Montacute also has many communal areas: a large kitchen, sitting room, lounge halls with sofas, dining room, barbecue deck, balconies with mountain views, large garden, coin-operated laundry and a large private carpark.
