After a short briefing and demonstration from your Instructor, you will take the wheel TWICE in 2 different cars taking on our Special dirt Rally course.Overlooking the hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, the Glass House Mountains offer a great introduction to abseiling (aka rappelling) for those wishing to add a little adventure to their day. With a guide, work your way up to abseiling on a 131-foot (40-meter) cliff face of Mt. Ngungun in Glass House Mountains National Park. Equipment is provided, and your professional guide will put you at ease and help you to complete this mental and physical challenge.
Meet your guide in the parking lot at Mt. Ngungun to begin your abseiling tour. Collect your allocated safety equipment, and walk in to the first site, where you'll be taken through a safety introduction prior to your first abseil. Once everyone is familiar with the equipment, start your abseils; the final rappel of the day is usually a 40-meter drop down sheer cliffs, from which you will walk back to the meeting point with your group. Meet our friendly staff along the waterfront at Walkabout Creek for check-in. Once check-in is completed, you will be fitted with a life jacket and given a short briefing including safety rules, an introduction to paddling and tips on where to go. We will help you on your paddle board and then you are off to explore the stunning Enoggera reservoir where you may encounter Australian wildlife, before returning back to the departure point. On return, our staff will help you out of the water and then you are free to head home or jump into the water for a swim.
